Dear Lord, There's a young man or woman far from home, called to serve their nation in time of war;
sent to defend our freedom
on some distant foreign shore. We pray You keep them safe,
we pray You keep them strong,
we pray You send them safely home ... for they have been away so long.

Bless those who await their safe return. Bless those who mourn the lost.
Bless those who serve this country well,
no matter what the cost.

God, Bless America!

Sgt. Sam Johnson

Sam is my friend and dear brother. He has always had a love for the United States and deeply believes in the protection of Americans and freedom everywhere. After many years of ROTC and National Guard training, he was deployed to Iraq this year. Please pray for his safety and peace across the world.

Not a moment goes by you're not in our thoughts"

GJ's birthday is April 18th,
According to Marineparents.com and GJ, he will stay in Kuwait
 for anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks to get "acclimated".
After that he is going to be at Camp Alashan
GJ told me that he will communicate mainly through Facebook
So, go to facebook and ask him to be a friend so he
can let you know what's going on when time allows.
